The premium Samsung S20 Ultra is Samsung’s most expensive non-foldable phone ever. Similar to its siblings, the display on the S20 Ultra is able to run 120Hz but not with the QHD enabled. The top centered punch hole style selfie camera is a powerful 40MP selfie camera. There is also no 3.5mm headphone jack on this premium device, which is a turn off for most.
The S20 Ultra’s most distinctive feature is the Space Zoom technology which is both gimmicky and cutting-edge. One the camera array, you will get a whopping 108MP main camera, 12MP Ultrawide camera, a TOF camera, and a 48MP telephoto camera. The sensor on the S20 Ultra’s camera is also an state-of-the-art sensor that allows great low light photography and other camera modes included in the S20 series. The Space Zoom technology is both impressive and gimmicky as mentioned before, but to be honest, the photo is near impossible to nail. The photo shakes too much when zoomed in and even with a tripod, the image is sometimes too digital to be instagramable.
Under the hood, you will get an Exynos 990 chipset which guarantees to run any software or games smoothly. You will also get a 12GB RAM to start with. With the 120Hz, scrolling through social media and gaming sessions will run buttery smooth. And then there’s the 5000mAh battery to last throughout the day.
