Samsung S20 Singapore Reviews
Samsung S20 is the cheapest variant you can get from the S20 series but its price is still at a premium level. You will get a 6.2-inch display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, powerful cameras on the front and the back, the latest Exynos 990 chipset, and a big 4000mAh battery pack.
The 6.2-inch display is a little bigger compared to the S10’s 6.1-inch. You still get to choose between WQHD+ high-quality display or the full-HD display. However, the 120Hz refresh rate is not compatible with the WQHD+ option. This is understandable considering the power chug these two settings will do. On the front, you will also get a punch hole styled selfie camera. The S20 series will also be the first S series to come without the headphone jack.
Under the hood, the Samsung S20 in Singapore carries an Exynos 990 chipset which is the latest chipset. The better chipset allows the S20 to run smoother and also improves the camera capabilities. If you vouch for the S20, you are limited to only a 128GB internal storage but the device does allow the use of microSD memory cards up to 1Tb storage.
The vanilla S20’s camera array consists of a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera. The Space Zoom technology which allows up to 100X zoom capability can only be found on the Samsung S20 Ultra. The Samsung S20 Plus and Samsung S20 Ultra will also get a TOF ( Time-of-flight ) camera which is missing on the Samsung S20. Another great feature on the S20 is the ability to shoot in 8K video. However, the Super Steady – Samsung’s advanced stabilization will not work with 8K video recording, instead, you get anti-roll correction as part of the Super Steady’s stabilization.
